Last night I had an amazing dream in that it started out scary , but ended up wonderful with God's good grace!
It started out I was in a huge retreat cabin with high beam ceilings and an open layout with a stone fireplace. In the living room area were lots of famous actors and actresses that I had found attractive in my life time. They were all there. Then some would get up and go to private quarters and get undressed I could see this . Then I was being seduced by several. It felt good for a moment to be admired. Then I refused one man. He got angry and called me dirty names. I got up got dressed and said "ENOUGH!" very loudly. Suddenly all those actors and actresses disapeared and turned into people I had met at various different churches in my life. They were just talking and relaxing on the sofas. A song welled up within me." Hallelujah Hallelujah..God is the fairest among all the rest...God is my hero and my King...Hallelujah Hallelujah.." There were some in the building that were musicians and picked up the song right away on their guitars and a piano. I saw a small throw blanket on the chair near me and began waving it like a banner. I started dancing and twirling. Then I woke up!

Survival in a desert land

Watching videos on survival techniques I came across "how to open a can without a can opener" rub the can upside down on cement until the edges are rough. Turn right side up and squeeze the lid out. Joe showed me his army issue P-38 can opener. I looked up that video too. Incredible that such a little device could open a can. Any way I posted the video instructions on how use a P-38 and this is a comment i got
your comment on my P38 can opener sparked a whole interesting conversation What to do in a Zombie Apocolips. I told Joe i wouldn't last long without water even with a good amount of supplies BUT I could ward off the Zombies with a petronis spell and God on my side! He said ya and then you would fall over tired LOL

So that got me thinking about how to explain Spiritual Warfare.. God gave me the answer this morning. "It is a person being a conduit for God's Glory to go between evil and mankind"! wow ya And you don't get so tired being a hallow vessel for the Lord

And we are both thinking about container gardening in the backyard to supplement our food supply complete with rain barrels and greenhouses!

Freedom

 Last night I imagined holding Amber Sunshine's paw in my hand like she used to let me do. I told her I loved her.I enjoyed her free spirit but we had a quieter lifestyle and that she needed to go somewhere where she could run stomp dig and bark all she wanted! I prayed she would find a house with another to play with if she wanted and thanked her for the love and Sunshine she brought to my heart.
This morning I was reading a book called Cat Lovers Devotions. This story was about an old cant who found her freedom. She had been living with 2 toddlers and was hiding alot. Then when they left she started playing like a young kitten again climbing the drapes and running in circles. The devotion asked when have you felt held back What can open up freedom in your life. Just then Joe peeked around the corner to tell me that Cloud parakeet FLEW! He heard wings and walked in the kitchen to see Cloud hopping back in the cage!. Cloud has not flown for a year since he fell and got hung up on the drapes. Joe had tears in his eyes. Every day for a year we leave the cage open and Joe encourages Cloud to fly again. Hurray!
I watched the sparrows picking the seeds and bugs off the sandy backyard uninterrupted by a fuzzy dog. I think Cloud sensed their freedom and was celebrating with them!
So I am going to enjoy our backyard with all the wild and free critters.
